Labyrinth commemorates Kartini Day with “Kartini Kreatif: Education & Inspiration for Empowerment”

Nuanu Creative City, Bali – April 8, 2025 – In celebration of Kartini Day, Labyrinth presents “Kartini Kreatif: Education & Inspiration for Empowerment”, an inspiring program designed to honor the legacy of R.A. Kartini by empowering Indonesian women through creativity, education, and innovation.

Set to take place on April 19, 2025, from 15:00 to 19:00 at the Labyrinth Art Gallery, this public event brings together artists, educators, entrepreneurs, and community members in a dynamic program that highlights the enduring relevance of Kartini’s ideals in today’s world.

With the theme “Education and Inspiration as the Key to Empowerment,” the initiative is built around three core pillars:

1. Creative & Innovative Work Bazaar and Exhibition. Featuring a curated display of art, crafts, and products by local artists, SMEs, and creative entrepreneurs, this segment showcases how creativity can drive small businesses and economic empowerment.

2. Panel Discussion: “Kartini & Gender Equality”. A powerful conversation with inspiring women from diverse backgrounds who will share their journeys and perspectives on education, equality, and women’s role in community development.

3. Live Art Demonstration: “Inspirasi Kartini”. Local artists will perform live paintings on canvas while narrating their creative process, offering a visual interpretation of Kartini’s spirit through contemporary art.

In addition, the event provides free consultation sessions on further education, job skills training, and small business development—offering tangible support to help women take actionable steps toward empowerment.
